PVA means the abbr. of polyvinyl alcohol

17 means the average degree of polymerization

99 means the alcoholysis degree

F means the product is mainly used for fiber production. With no F, it means for other purposes

L means produced by low alkalinity alcoholysis process
H means by high alkalinity alcoholysis process

Flocculent product produced by high alkalinity alcoholysis process, flake and powder by low alkalinity alcoholysis process.
